War and Peace: When our plowshares turn back into guns...can we even talk about it?
AIDS and Global Health: How can the arts address global health issues?

The GROUNDINGS PROJECT seeks to stimulate dialog, inspiration and action among Christian artists as we walk together in an authentic pursuit of Christ and our creative calling. We look for opportunities to engage the church and the artist in an exploration of the deep and sometimes difficult issues of our times at the vibrant juncture(s) of art, faith and culture.
Through a variety of projects, the GROUNDINGS PROJECT partners with many groups around the country to bring important speakers and topics to the table in ways that allow artists and the church to participate. Learn more.
Some of the questions explored include:
- What does the Bible say that is relevant to today and to art?
- Can art speak into the global issues of today? How? Should it?
- How does our faith impact our lives as artists?
- How does our art impact our faith?
- Where is the church when it comes to the arts?
- How does one survive and thrive as an artist?
- How can we build community?
